Another topic on this board got me thinking about the importance of vitamin D, and I stumbled across this article on NCBI.

Take a read of the abstract, and if you're feeling adventurous, download the full article and read what they say. You can also just google "Vitamin D and RA" and you will get a more straightforward answer.
Remember to take your vitamin D! It can help regulate your immune system, which can limit your RA symptoms, and if you extrapolate from there, it may also regulate your cell counts.
I take 4000 units of vitamin D daily, and have done so for about a year now. I have noticed a slight decrease in my RA symptoms after taking the supplement for a few months.
