Good-morning, Have anyone ever just stop taking all this medication before? How did we make it before the pills? I almost can't remember anymore. I just look at all these pills today Wow ! My insurance just approved my knew medication an all these thoughts is running around in my mind...I'm keeping up the good fight.I know this is going to be a better year for all of us!! I think this rash on my face is just making me a little sad. Has anyone had the rash on there face? I'm so glad i can come here to talk.. I've been putting off making the appointment for the doctor about my throat. I've been drink warm water with honey. It's funny how somebody here is having some of the same problems at the same time. Just had to get that off my chest. One Touch

I sometimes get cross about all the pills i have to take. Before I was diagnosed i only took headache pills occasionally, now I have cupboards full of tablets! Sometimes I get rebellious and think i'm not going to take them, but then i get scared of being as sick as I was when i was diagnosed and the rebellion doesn't last long! I've been having a few problems with swallowing too, and a constant sore throat for the last few weeks. I'm seeing my doctor next week so can ask him what to do. Antibiotics helped the soreness, but as soon as they were finished it's back, maybe my cellcept dose is too high? You should get someone check the rash and throat, just to put your mind at rest :o)

I do not like all the meds either but they help so much it is worth it. I go to accupuncture every few months or so to help with the liver and kidney detox. Lots of meds build up in those areas, don't need that too! Been on Cellcept for 2 years and no sore throat. Onetouch, you really should have that rash check out but you know you will probably have yet another med for it. A way I deal is-- I try to be thankful that there are finally meds that help us. More coming and I am looking forward to a full healing!!! Think positive and know that all of you are in my thoughts:)

I'm on cellcept too, I love it! I hate taking all these pills! It takes me a good 30 min each week to fill my container! I too am so scared about what would happen if I didn't have them! I had the rash on my face for a VERY long time, it was actually my first symptom. It was awful it was so bad my eyes were swollen shut, I had spots in my ears, on my scalp, and in my mouth! See someoneabout this it cann get really bad!

I am going to start cellcept next week. I am so nervous after reading all of the warnings. I know there are side effects to every medication but this one scares me a bit more. Anything I should know in advance from someone already taking it would be very helpful. Thanks guys. And continue the good fight ;)

I just started cellcept last week.I would have to say that i feel different already far as energy. My cough is back strong this is the first time down to 10mg of prednisone. Will keep you updated. My biggest problem is this rash.It started before i started cellcept.I think is one of the reasons she change me to cellcept. Keep up the fight! one touch

my husband has been on Cellcept now for about one year. Not really too many side effects. He did, however, develop a rash on his face about a couple of weeks ago. He will be seeing his rheumatolgoist in a couple of weeks. He will ask her at that time about it. He just had a CAT scan done so lungs seem to be stable when compared to last May. No further scarring is noted so maybe Cellcept is keeping things at bay. His cough had gotten better on Cellcept but recently noticed him coughing a little more with more choking episodes as if when he is eating it "didn't go down the right pipe" Regards to all!!
