Hi to all! There has been a lot of exciting activity in our Dent Consortium. 1. We now have 48 people with Dent registered in our Dent registry. We have children from Korea, Italy and Germany. It exceeded our expectations! I would like to remind all Rareshare members who have expressed interest for the registry but did not send their medical charts yet, to try to do that as soon as they can. 2. We have published a review "Genetic Causes of Kidney Stones and Kidney Failure" in journal Clinical Reviews in Bone and Mineral Metabolism. We are writing another review for journal of Pediatric Nephrology which will be published i the next several months. 3. We had our annual Dent meeting at the conference of American Society of Nephrology, we also exibited an informational poster. We had more Dent scientists and physicians than ever at the meeting! 4. I presently don't have carved out time to work on Dent but I'm trying to work in any spare moment I can get. I am applying in Decemeber for a grant that would allow me to dedicate some time on Studying the role of phosphorus in Dent disease. I'll let you know how it goes! Happy Thanksgiving to all! Lada

Happy Thanksgiving to you ! Sounds like you have been busy indeed. The more information and communication the better. I also read your information on the patient advocacy group start up. I will pursue that the best I can and try to do my part in finding a cure or treatment for this disease. Please tell everyone-Thank-you for researching and working toward helping alot of people, yourseself included.

2 good news! 1. We now offer free genetic testing at Mayo clinic for 2 major news associated with Dent disease. 2. I have submitted a grant for studying a role of phosphate and FGF 23 - a major hormone controlling phosphate metabolism in Dent disease. If that is approved we will have means to investigate new area in Dent disease. Any luck with PAG? Lada
