Okay, my husbands LGL markers went down so his oncologist has put a hold on treatment. We're back to watch and wait. However his symptoms have progressed - quite profoundly. His local doctor decided to go ahead and start him on methotrexate. He's been sleeping 20 hours a day. Pain has been severe. He has kept a constant pain in his lower left abdomen for 2 years. Bone pain has been more recent (and increasing in severity). A few days ago warranted another trip to the ER where they discovered a kidney stone was blocking his kidney and impairing function. Three months ago, same trip to the ER and no stone, just inflammation and infection. His admitting dr. tells him that this isn't uncommon with LGL - you're more predisposed to kidney stones and MTX makes it worse. That was the first I had heard of that. Anyone else heard or had similar experience?
