Hi! My name is Dawn. I'm 42 years old and a wife and mother of 2 toddlers. I was just diagnosed April 13, 2011. I just went in for an MRI and chest x-ray prior to removal of a mass that is on my upper left thigh. I'm not sure how I'm feeling about this. I know I'm anxious for the test results. I know that metastasis is rare, but I have been short of breath lately. I don't really want to talk to my husband about it because he's easily rattled and I don't know how he'll take it if I share my true feelings. Rare skin cancer ... yeah that's my life in a nutshell.
