BLOATED STOMACH

I am currently in the hospital due to an extremely bloated stomach which I attribute to a side effect of taking Prednesone. The pressure and pain became unbearable. They began giving me Albumin and I lost 3 millileters of fluid and it decreased the size of my abdomen greatly. They discovered my Spleen was enlarged and has blood clots attached to it. Has anyone experienced these conditions related to SCLS? My last episode was Dec. 2010. ..Donn

Hello Donn, I think you have to visit an hematologist becouse you could have a patelets disorder consecutive to the splenomegaly. Check your blood formula precisely. Sincerely. Claude

The Doctors are telling me this was a concentrated leakage into my bowls and lungs. The Albumin neutralized the fluid and my body was able to purge it. I was told to limit my intake of fluids to 2 liters a day and not drink plain water.
