I have a daughter now 49. We have been trying to find others to have support with this syndrome. Recently, she was placed in a private institution as I have been unable to care for her myself. She has had PNES (pseudo non-epilitic seizures) for years. We have experienced all the negatives one could encounter with this learning time. Three years ago she had two very real grand mal seizures. After that she declined. Now PNES one year later, since placement, has returned.
