Hello, everyone! I was just diagnosed last week after 9 years of symptoms! I was wondering about what meds you are on and how long it takes to get levels right? I can't find much info on this disorder! I just want to feel "normal" again, or at least, not like I'm dying. Thanks Jesi

Hi there. It's hard to say how long it may take to get the meds right because I've had it since birth. I take take cortef and levoxyl. But they rarely adjust my dosage. Good luck.

Hi Jesi Sorry it take 9 months for you to finally found out. I take about a year or two to get optimized...can't really remember. I'm taking minirin, levothyroxine, hydrocort, progyluton, calcium pills. Not afford to take GH yet. Always try to avoid, or minimize stress, because it can really mess me up and difficult to get back to 'normal'.

Hello everyone, Jesi- It depends on how low your levels are I believe I could be wrong. Some of us bounce right back, I can have a 12 blood sugar and be back to normal within a week or so. I do agree with Rose since you're new to this your doctor may change your doses for a bit until they get the right dosage for you. I am on Synthroid, Cortisol (or Cortef), Estrace and Provera. If you have any questions feel free to message me. I've had panhypopituitarism for 30 years, since birth basically. I'm working on building a website panhypopituitarism.org (It's not built yet) and creating a website so people have a resource and an outlet to go to for information. If there is anything that you think should be added or just want to talk email me at nancypat30@gmail.com. I'd be happy to talk to all of you (It's a rarity to connect with people that have panhypopituitarism)
