Anyone heard of Fampridine?

My wife has x-ald/amn and tried this drug upon its release for 3 months and it did absolutely nothing for her.

I was reading up on it. What I found was it effected people like most drugs. Some people swore by it and others didn't notice any thing from it. I think it just depends on the person.
