Hi, I just joined and wanted to give you all info on our 5 year daughter Savana. She was diagnoised when she was 3 1/2 yrs. By age 3 the Doctors finally agreed she was far enough behind developmentally to start looking for reasons. She started crawling at 12 months, walking at age 2, and putting words together at age 4. Cognitively she isn't that far behind, she just has a hard time expressing herself. She is always progressing, just slowly. She receives OT, ST, PT and MT. weekly. She loves going to all of her therapies and is a hard worker. She is very social, sweet, and always thinking of others. She has 2 little sisters that she adores. Savana wears glasses, has little hands and feet, and has low muscle tone. She had tubes put in her ears at 1 1/2 yrs old. Savana does not get sick very often but when she does she holds on to it alot longer than our other children. That's all the info I can think of. . .please let me know if you have anymore questions. Have a great day!
