This is Jeff Isenhour's wife, Elizabeth Mouzon.  Sadly, Jeff had a bad attack of leaky capillary yesterday, and died while they were still trying to stabilize him in the ER.

He was getting subcutaneous IV/IG, but was still getting minor symptoms.  Even so, the IV/IG gave us many more years together, and with higher quality of life.

This forum has been a source of so much information and encouragement over the years.

I'm shocked to get this terrible news, Elizabeth!  Please accept my deepest condolences.

Jeff joined this community very early on, in August 2008, within three months of its founding, and thus his name appears in my recounting the history of this virtual community, at https://rareshare.org/topics/1844 

I've now added his name to the list of the departed on our landing page, https://rareshare.org/communities/systemic-capillary-leak-syndrome, along with all the nine other members we have lost since 2009.

I will write to you further offline.

Elizabeth, I am so sorry. My eighteen-year-old daughter passed away last year from what we think was SCLS as well. (We're still waiting on results from Dr. Druey's findings.) My sympathies and prayers for your peace and comfort.
