My daughter Adele was diagnosed in 2009 and no acute episodes occurred since then. From my profile update:

Under medical prescription, the therapy for my daughter has been gradually reduced until January 2019, when it has been stopped at all. Since January, as in previous 10 years, no acute episodes occurred, in spite of normal flu that didn't triggered any SCLS symptoms. Great news for us and I think an inspiration for everyone.

Thank you for the encouraging update on Adele!  You are all very brave for experimenting to see if children can "outgrow" SCLS.
