I'm an autistic person trying to get an understanding of what it's like raising kids on the autism spectrum. Although autism is common among kids with many rare chromosome abnormalities, previous studies of parents' experiences of autism have focused only on autism with no known cause. I'm interested in seeing if knowing the cause of a child's autistic features changes the experience of raising a child on the autism spectrum.
