sometimes I get muscle spasms in my abdomen but not tightness. I have no symptoms of constipation typically. My legs have been getting more spastic so I attribute my situation to increasing nervous system issues.

Hi Michael, Greetings from Barcelona. I found in your profile _And remember the sweet wouldn’t be as sweet without the sour. It's something that almost everyday I'm using to stay fit, work a lot, travel and enjoy life. One day our myelin problems will be fixed by doctors, as my doctor says the point is that that day will find us in the better conditions. Best wishes

Best wishes to you also josepanton. Positive thinking is very powerful and something you are in complete control of. We can choose to be happy no matter the situation around us. Negative thinking has never gotten me anywhere even though I do get trapped in it from time to time. Lets all help each other stay positive about our situation.

I have taken 4 monthly doses Cerluten during 2015. The brain white matter disappeared! MRT approved. I feel better. 53 years old. The first ALD symptoms 2006. Today I am going to visit my neurolog.

The neurolog confirmed the MRT brain scan improvements. The leg nerve signal speed is on the same level as it was 4 years ago!!! One year Cerluten therapy has compensated 4 years demyelization process.

Hi there Nikolah, I'm in a clinical trial with biotin. The clinical trial is conducted by a French laboratory but with patients from France, Germany and Spain. I started 4 mounths ago and by now it's working well as I walk better. In a few months I could tell you if the results are satisfactory. Best wishes to all the community members afected by adrenomyeloneuropathy.

All the best to you Jose too. I am on my own with Cerluten. For a first time after 10 years of walking ability deterioration I am experiencing improvement. It is amazing! A radiolog and neurolog confirmed the efect.

I am a female diagnosed with AMN and I do get the muscle spasms in my abdomen from constipation. For me they are very painful. I feel like the wind has been knocked out of me and I am unable to stand. I have to lay or sit down. The spams can last minutes up to several hours.

Hello all. I am a female who was diagnosed at age 18 and am 41 now. I have sever muscle spasticity throughout my entire body. In 2009 my neurologist Dr. Karen Roos, from IU Medical, diagnosised me with Genetic Torsion Dystonia. Of course it had to be the rarest from of Dystonia. There are several different types of Dystonia that causes spasticity in different areas. My Neurogenetist, Dr. Joseph Hersh at the University of Louisville, said I needed to be put in Artane. I am one the lowest dose right now however it will be increased over time. Even being one the lowest dose I have seen a slight lowering of my dystonic episodes. I hope this helps those who can be tested for it.
