I haven't been on here in awhile so thought I'd update...I was recently finally approved for ssdi for my sm, rheumatoid arthritis, scoliosis and a list of other health problems. I battled with them for almost 3 years...all the while being out of work in the medical field because of pain, stiffness, fatigue....etc., etc. I was approved at the final step-court hearing with an alj. I was lucky enough to get a judge that was very kind and reviewed my case beforehand. He genuinely had sympathy for me. I recieved a call from social security less than a week later that my case had been approved. Finally it felt like someone wanted to help me! I just wanted to reach out to any of you in the process or going to start the process. You CAN be approved. If you are genuinely disabled by this disease it may always feel like nobody understands or hears you. But I assure you, if I can get through it you can too!
