Funny, funny funny! Having monthly IVIG at Greenslopes day oncology and on last bottle when I started having weird back, chest and jaw pain. They called my doc and he said we are going to treat this seriously. So stopped treatment, told I was in for the night and transferred to CCU. They called my doc and he said we are going to treat this seriously. So stopped treatment, told I was in for the night and transferred to CCU. I was given a dose of Klexane and heart was monitored, as well as, complete bed rest. I had. Look tests and ECG every six hours and no heart attack. yeah! Yesterday had a CT heart scan with dye so had to get a much longer cannula put in. I had it via ultrasound and had little to no confidence in first doc, especially when he said "how do I turn the machine on?" And I did say it didn't instil confidence when he didn't even know how to turn it on. Bloody hurt and he didn't get it, so called the experienced doc and little pain and straight in. I almost felt I was having a hear attack from the earlier pain. After that had an echo. Results were I have perfect arteries, spots of plaque on the surface of my heart and heart lining is inflamed which could be due to my pain diseases. So an aspirin a day and another pain/anti-inflammatory if pain comes back. Am exhausted from little sleep and the bruising in my arm. Ouch! But happy nothing more! Lisa

Wow Lisa. Sounds like they put you through the ringer. Glad to hear all is well. I guess it's all good, even if the doc wasn't sure what they were doing. You truly were a lab rat for that one.. lol Somehow I can picture him (or her) saying "um. what's this little button for?" God Bless and Keep Up The Good Fight Wayne
