Has anyone had any success with cyclophosphmide, I am trying to work out whether it is the high dose of prednisone 75mg per day that is improving my blood results or a combination of the two drugs. I am hoping that the cyclo is helping too so I can drop my pred to a safer level otherwise I will become a prednojunkie.

I haven't had cyclophosphmide, but started out on 75mg Predisone with Tacrolimus. As the tacrolimus has proven to be working my Prednisone was gradually reduced until I was taken off it completely in February. My specialist advised that the longer I can stay off Prednisone the better as this medication has the most serious side effects. I have started to experience pain/cramps in my muscles but this pain is constant but not unbearable. My specialist advised if I could 'suck up' the pain as long as possible it is better for me long term.
