have feet again

I got very sick after Thanksgiving 2013. Getting worse and worse through December and into January. Whole body was very swollen. Adult children were taking me for body massage just to try to move the fluids but not doing much good. Kaiser was trying to do lymph drainage. Laid down on the couch and did not get up for a week. Finally, pulled myself up and went back to work. Difficult to get any shoes or shoe like objects on my feet. Difficult getting in and out of vehicle. Everything swollen, severely. Left knee began to hurt with use. Family had me try the "gin soaked raisin" remedy for arthritis to see if it would help the knee. Overnight the pain level 9.5 (10 as worst pain ever) dropped to 6. A 6 is bad but not when compared to 9.5. Swelling down some but not dramatically. Able to work. Swelling went down more. Chiropractor was amazed at the improvement. Skipped one night's dose and swelling went up the next day with pain. Took my two tablespoon each night. Three weeks later, my swelling is minimal. Recipe is on the internet, including Dr. OZ. I used Tanqueray gin in the green bottle and Sun Main golden raisins. ("Pictures":http://26blue.com/index.php?title=Arthritis) I put the golden raisin in any container and cover with gin. That's it. Must be golden raisins and juniper gin. I don't wait for the gin to evaporate. I take two tablespoons per night. Whatever is on the spoon, I eat. The gin can be strong but it is at most a few drops. One package of golden raisins lasts me one week. A green bottle of T gin does two packages of golden raisins. My health is still improving. Only time will tell if it is the gin soaked raisins or not. But I have not had feet for a long time. Yes, many home remedies I have tried in the past gave some relief, but nothing was as pronounced as these gin-raisins. I must be feeling much better because I am doing house work and other chores.

I know that you specified golden raisins, but i am unable to eat those. Do you have any idea if there is any other dried fruit that i might be able to use?

How interesting. I will try it myself. Some of these 'folklore' remedies actually do work and have now been followed up my scientific studies. Another one is drinking pickle juice for cramp. I have been doing this for about 12 years 'cos my cramp is so severe and lasts for hours that I vomit and/or black out and nothing relieves it. It now seems pickle juice is pretty main stream for long distance athletes! It is, as may be supposed, not the salt, or salt and vinegar together but the pickles may well have an enzyme which is released in the pickling process. You can google it.It makes fascinating reading So your golden raisin remedy may well be something similar Tolleya, what happens when you eat golden raisins?

Tolleya might be able to eat just five raisins, nightly. Many claim it is enough to get the results. The "gin soaked raisins" are helping. Last night, I had some swelling and took more Drunken Raisins. Swelling is much less today. My quality of life has improved. Before, I was dragging myself through the day. Windows: My daughter has severe fibromyalgia and suffers similar to your description of cramps. What type or brand of pickles do you use?

Rivcal. I use any brand of pickles. However some are very sweet and I don't like sweet things so just try different ones. I am sorry to hear about your daughter. I am pretty confident she will get relief with the pickle juice. I discussed it with my specialist last night and he was intrigued. It has been scientifically studied now but wasn't when I first started taking it- purely empirical then. Good luck
