I work at a local medical clinic & was invited to a drug rep luncheon. I knew the rep was CSL Behring & later found out they supply the IVIG for the clinic. The interesting part was they have an "Assurance" program available to join. If you lose your insurance, you can continue regularly scheduled treatments. I have started the application process & will post more as I gather more information.

Very interesting! I see that to enroll and participate in their program, one must be a US resident; have private coverage as insurance; and be using an eligible CSL Behring therapy. Once enrolled in the Behring program, one begins earning an Award Certificate for every 3 consecutive months of therapy use. Each certificate is worth a 1-month supply of therapy up to the maximum amount redeemable in case of insurance coverage interruption, see _https://www.cslbehringassurance.com/_ I'm going to sign up for it, just in case!

Hello Dawnfye, hello Arturo, This is a very good news for american Patients with SCLS. But this is only the beginning of a final solution as the required dose of IG is about 500 g for 3 months. You must continue to fight for the treatment to be recognized by doctors and insurance. Claude Pfefferlé
