Hello Everyone, My son Camden is seven years old and was just diagnosed with Dent's disease last week, We are very new to this and are unsure of where we are going with it. His kidney function is good for right now, and they have started him on Enalapril, but this is the first case of Dents that his nephrologist has actually seen. Any tips or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Yes, unfortunately Dents' cases seem to be rare. Have you checked out www.dentdisease.com? Any specific queries you have? Are you able to attend the Dent conference on June 8th?

Yes, I have looked at numerous websites pertaining to dents, and they have been quite useful in my studies thus far. I am unfortunately unable to attend the conference on June 8th, as we live in FL. But if there are notes or anything about it that will be shared, I would love to have them. I am most concerned with just keeping his kidney function good and keeping him as healthy as possible.

Hi, I think that al parents involved on the site can understand how you feel. You can ask specific questions and we will be happy to help. We were talking about how to make the conference available for the people who cannot come. We will be probably be able to set up a conference call so that people can listen to the conference, however I don't think we would be able to get the image up. Lada
