Hey, everyone I found this product in the store, and thought I would share it with you. It is Sun Guard laundry treatment. This product helps clothing protect skin from harmful UV rays. I'm going to try this, and I will let you know how it goes. Unfortunately, I am unable to send a picture of the product to show you. Hope everyone is well and enjoying the start of spring. Cathy

Thank you! I am always looking for ways to protect myself from the sun and yet not wear heavy clothes to do it. I will have to find some and try it out. Hope you are well.

Has anyone found that if you are in the sun a bit, you develop problems with your skin? My husband has some bumps and some small open sores in different parts of his body, some areas that are really not exposed to the sun like the upper thigh and chest area. He attributes this to the sun but not certain. P.S. He is on Cellcept

Finally Cathy we need sun protection I will try and get hold of some. Doreen I have the same problem they are very itching spots in random areas nothing like bites. It's as though the sun triggers the immune system rather than irritates the skin. Maybe it's the heat. I will let you know if I find out more. Katrina x

Yup, me too. I get a super itchy, bumpy, inflamed rash on my arms, face, neck, etc if in the sun. I've had that reaction for years - long before my AS and then dermatomyositis diagnosis. That probably should have been my first clue! I now wear sunscreen on my face daily year around and when sunny, almost always have on a hat and a UV protective long sleeved lightweight shirt on. Between all that and the oxygen gear I look like a nut but it helps me be out in the world.
