Our niece has just come down with chicken pox so our daughter may well have caught it. I was wondering how kids with the duplication coped with chicken pox? Any problems??? (also while I'm on, she has developed a small patch of what looks like psoriasis on her scalp, anyone else had this?) Hope everyone's Ok

I haven't heard how anyone else with the disorder has responded to chicken pox sorry! I hope your daughter doesn't get them. My son has psoriasis but has never got it on his scalp. On his skin I've always used aquaphor but that's hard when it's on her scalp! :(

Oh my MIL told me the patch on her scalp is just cradle cap. Derrr I didn't realise they could still get that aged nearly 3.

My son had psoriasis really bad on his scalp. It started out as cradle cap but I was told at a certain age it becomes psoriasis. Little clumps of his would come out of his scalp because of it and we battled it till he was 4 when his dr finally prescribed a medicated cream for it. It made his hair nasty greasy and gross but it really helped it go away and it hasn't reoccurred since.
