Have you (or your child) ever received any immunosupressive therapy? (like steroids, cyclophosphamide or cytoxan, cyclosporine, mycophenolate mofetil/MMF/prograf etc.) Thanks Lada

No, Lada. My son, FJ, has never received this.

My son did take prednisone for awhile in elementary school. It only made his face bloat. The doctor then took him off it when it had no affect on his urine tests. He was also tested for growth problems as he got older, either due to the taking of the steroids or the Dent's. But he is now 5'10".

Sorry Lada, I'm mistaken - my memory is rubbish! Following an episode of acute renal failure 4 years ago, FJ, took prednisilone for around 6 months.

Lada, Sorry just saw this. My son never had any kind of steroids. (He did take growth hormone for 6 years, ages 12 to 18)
