COVID-19 may present elevated risks for some rare disease patients

In multiple articles presented in RareShare's newslink section, patients with rare diseases ranging from hyperoxaluria, relapsing polychondritis, Friedreich's Ataxia and spastic paraplegia plead for public help in complying with guidelines to minimumize community transmission of coronavirus.  

Patients, particularly those who are immunosuppressed, may be at high risk for severe COVID-19 infections.
